2019 BMW Z4 Prices, Reviews, and Pictures

BMW Z4 is a classic roadster design that has been embraced by BMW. The third generation Z4 has been completely redesigned by BMW to offer driving enthusiasts sportiness and attitude. The Z4 is a luxury interior that combines with the classic rear-wheel-drive, front-engine roadster layout. It offers an unforgettable driving experience that will delight all who have the opportunity to ride or drive it.

Overview

The BMW Z4 sports car is modern and high-performance, but retains the shape and DNA of the classic roadster. The BMW Z4 is a great choice for those who want a fun, high-tech, luxurious and engaging sports car.

Pricing and Trims

The Z4’s standard trim, the sDrive30i is available. It features a 2.0-liter TwinPower turbo 4-cylinder engine that produces around $50,000 in Sport Line pricing. You can get the M Sport Package for around $3,000 more.

Although the sDrive30i Sport Line trim is the entry-level Z4, it is far more expensive than the Z4. It boasts a 50:50 weight distribution and 18-inch alloy wheels. The standard features of the vehicle are comparable to BMW’s new iDrive system, and the innovative BMW Live Cockpit Professional. There are also two sharp displays. Every vehicle comes with the highest safety equipment including stop and go, lane departure warnings, parking assistant, intelligent adaptive cruise control, and parking assistant. BMW’s Z4 is the first BMW roadster to include an optional head-up display. This helps keep the driver informed. The Premium Package costs around $1,600. The Executive Package costs $2,500 and adds adaptive full LED headlights, high beams, Vernesca leather upholstery, Harmon Kardon surround sound system and ambient LED interior lighting. If you are looking for additional safety equipment or convince features, the Convenience Package and Driving Assistance Package are also available.

The M Sport package is available for an additional $3000 on the sDrive30i. It’s designed to provide performance for drivers who want it. The package includes Adaptive M Sport suspension with a 10mm lower ride height and M Sport brakes that complement the M wheel design. The Track Handling Package, which costs around $2500, will allow you to fully enjoy the Z4’s handling capabilities. It includes the locking M Sport differential as well as summer performance tires.

Performance and Engine

The Z4 sDrive30i trim includes the 2.0-liter TwinPower turbo 4-cylinder engine producing 255 horsepower, and 296 lb.ft of torque. These numbers may not be as impressive as those of some competitors, but BMW’s motorsport experience ensures that the engine drives and feels uniquely BMW. The EPA estimates an sDrive30i should return fuel economy of 25/32/28 mpg city/highway/combined.

Interior

2019 saw the Z4’s redesign. The interior of the Z4 was completely redesigned to match the new design direction. The BMW Live Cockpit Professional is the centerpiece of the driver cockpit. It places a 12.3 inch center display behind each steering wheel, giving the driver instant access to all vehicle information. The system is paired to a 10.25-inch tablet-like display located in the dash, which allows the iDrive controller to interact with the infotainment system in real time.

BMW completely redesigned the interior of Z4 with the latest technology. BMW’s superb synthetic SensaTec upholstery is standard in black. However, you can choose from a variety of Vernasca leather colors for an additional charge. BMW’s new aluminum Tetragon and aluminum “Mesheffect”, interior trim pieces, have a futuristic look and feel that adds to their futuristic design language. The new seats have a sporty, yet elegant design. They offer more interior space and are spacious for the occupants. The trunk space has been increased by two times from the previous Z4, adding more functionality to the sporty roadster.
